OLYMPIA REVIVAL COLLABORATION
By Brittany DrennanA Tribute to Heritage and Brewing: Joining forces in the heart of San Antonio, we’ve partnered with Künstler Brewing and Olympia Brewing Company to brew the iconic Olympia beer. “Olympia Revival” was crafted with Pure Washington Malt, from Great Western Malting to honor Olympia’s Northwest roots.
About the original Olympia Beer:
Leopold Friederich Schmidt, originally from Germany, mastered German brewing and built a robust brewing complex at Tumwater Falls. In 1896, he began brewing Olympia Beer. Despite the brewery’s early success, Prohibition halted beer production. After Prohibition ended, the new Olympia Brewery was constructed, and Olympia beer went back on sale in 1934.
Although the beer was discontinued in 2020, we’re excited to have revived the Olympia legacy at Künstler Brewing with the Olympia Revival Lager through this special collaboration with Great Western Malting.
