REMEMBERING JAMES FAWCETT

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of James Fawcett, a true icon in the brewing industry and a cherished part of the Country Malt Group family.

As the son of Thomas Fawcett, James played an instrumental role in our early success, helping to forge one of our very first malt vendor partnerships. Over the years, he became more than just a business partner—he became family. His passion, knowledge, and unwavering commitment to the craft left a lasting mark on the global brewing community.

As we grieve this loss, we’ve been looking back on our favorite photos and reflecting on the many moments we shared with James — remembering the warmth, wisdom, and camaraderie he brought to every interaction and celebrating the incredible legacy he leaves behind.

James’s legacy lives on in the partnerships he built, the brewers he inspired, and the excellence he championed.
